Football is a fun and exciting sport to play. In County there are numerous options for those that wish to play some football. Boulder County offers adult pick-up, youth league opportunities and a variety of flag football opportunities for those that desire.

Pick-up Football

Venue :FAIRVIEW HIGH SCHOOL

Full flag football men’s league participation each Sunday meeting at 9am. The game is competitive and the guys are a fun, energetic and skilled group of football savvy athletes. We play at fairview high school on the main football field located on Greenbriar off of South Broadway coming from boulder. The game is divided into two teams shortly after 9am and game starts around 9:30. All equipment is provided except footwear and drink. Price : Team fee is $470 with player fee $13 for Longmont resident, $16 non-resident. Free Agent fee is $45 resident/ $56.25 non-resident

Offers Mens, Womens and Co-Rec. Depending on weather, games are either indoor and outdoor flag football depending on weather. Need to be a member of the University of Colorado Recreation Center or a University of Colorado student to play.

Fall Flag Football provides kids with a chance to learn and have fun playing the game without all the equipment needed for tackle football. Focuses on learning and fun.

The NFC is the most competitive. The AFC has 3 levels- A, B, C. This mode is designed to offers something for everyone who is interested in playing tackle football. The Longmont Youth Football Association’s mission statement is “to provide the students of the St. Vrain Valley School District with an outstanding athletic experience stressing competitiveness, teamwork, football fundamentals, and above all good sportsmanship.” All proceeds go towards equipment, fields, referrees, and promotion.

Coal Creek Midget Football League (CCMFL). The CCMFL is a competitive, tackle youth football league consisting of teams mostly from the north Denver metro area.

Youth Clinics

Most leagues run their own youth clinics and camps.

Skill : Any player wanting to play high school football

Most high schools offer their own football camp mostly for middle schoolers. If you want to choose one of these camps, contact the appropriate high school. You will most likely meet your future coaches.

University of Colorado Football Camps provide D-1 level football instruction utilizing the University of Colorado football staff to provide personalized instruction. Pick-up Football Sundays at Fairview Field are awesome. So much fun!!! It’s pretty competitive and there are some good players but it’s still really cool!
