Even though Boulder County is somewhat arid, there are several largish bodies of water that can serve as great boating venues.  They exist through Longmont, Lafayette and Louisville.  The public reservoirs serve as great summer recreation spots for all sorts of boaters, including sailers, water-skiiers, jet-skiiers, wake-boarders, and more.  The public reservoirs that are located either within Boulder County or within close proximity are listed below.  In addition, you will find information that will assist you in either renting boating equipment or taking lessons.
